Daniele Horton has over 20 years of professional experience including architecture, corporate sustainability, real estate and project management. Daniele is President and Founder of Verdani Partners, a full-service sustainability and ESG management consulting firm with projects totaling 800 million SF across 4,300 properties in diversified portfolios. She is the Sustainabilty Advisor to Verdani’s largest accounts, and with over 100 industry presentations over the course of her career, Daniele is a leading voice in global sustainable real estate particularly on the topics of climate mitigation and resiliency strategies. Daniele is also an MSRE professor at University of San Diego.

Jessica Loeper

Verdani Partners VP and Director of Sustainability, LEED AP O+M

Jessica brings 16 years of professional experience in sustainability experience for large real estate portfolios as well as city planning, with expertise in ESG, LEED, ENERGY STAR, CDP, CSR, GRI and GRESB strategy, stakeholder engagement and project management. Jessica is the VP at Verdani Partners, Director of the Corporate Sustainability Department and acts as Sustainability Advisor of several Verdani leading accounts. Since 2014, Jessica has been the Director of Sustainability for one of Verdani’s most progressive and award-winning Class-A office portfolios, CommonWealth Partners.

Shubha Maheshwari

Verdani Partners Director of Sustainability, MS, LEED AP BD+C

As a Director of Sustainability for Verdani Partners, Shubha has 10 years of experience in corporate sustainability and energy efficiency, specializing in energy modeling, ASHRAE level I & II Energy Audits, and LEED consulting. Shubha is currently managing Verdani’s largest global diversified portfolio with 15+ funds, 190M SF and 1,600 properties. As an architectural planner, Shubha also worked on sustainable new development projects such as the world’s tallest building, Kingdom Tower. She has also been a guest lecturer at USD at Burnham-Moores School of Business.

Ruby Gonzalez-Jimenez

Verdani Partners Certification Director, LEED AP O+M, ENV SP, GGP, Fitwel Ambassador

Ruby is a driven sustainability professional with 11 years of consulting experience including commissioning, energy audits, lighting retrofits, green building certifications, and project management. With a background in engineering and over 22.3 million gross square feet of certified projects, Ruby is the Director of Certifications at Verdani Partners. As an expert in green building certifications, Ruby leads LEED Green Associate trainings, performs feasibility studies, GAP analysis, real estate portfolio assessments for green building certifications and is responsible for business development for certifications. Ruby holds credentials in WELL AP, LEED AP O+M, Fitwel Ambassador, GGP, and Envision SP.

Chris Wei

Verdani Partners Senior Energy Engineer, MS, PE, CEM, LEED AP O+M

Chris is the Director of Verdani’s Engineering Department and oversees all technical projects, including support on technical credits related to all green building certification projects. With 10 years of engineering experience, Chris has conducted technical assessments for a variety of buildings throughout the United States. These assessments include ASHRAE energy audits, ENERGY STAR certifications, and indoor air quality assessments. He works daily with building owners on developing effective strategies to benchmark their data, identify energy conservation opportunities, and implement building optimization projects.
